functional description

The mechanically pre-cleaned water is being displaced to the biozone where bio-disks are slowly rotating. The cleaning process proceeds by means of micro-organisms of the bio-mass, most of them grow on the bio-disks and others float in the entire volume of the biozone. The bio-mass receives the energy for life and reproduction from the pollution of the sewage water. The oxygen which is necessary for breathing of the micro-organisms is being supplied freely by diffusion through the contact with air. In the first section of the refilling tank, there occurs intensive aeration of the water which is subject to the cleaning process by means of a drum disk. The sludge, originated mostly by the excessive sedimentary bio-mass, is being deposited on the bottom of both sections of the refilling tank from where it may be discharged by a gravity chute through a discharging valve. The recovered water flows off by overfall from the refilling tank. When using it for watering or irrigation, the recovered water flows off also by the gravity chute into an independent irrigation tank, which can be fitted in the garden at any distance from the sewage treatment plant.

All versions

sectional, dismountable unit; it is composed of 6 easy replaceable exchangeable parts making it lifetime virtually infinite; all versions are equipped with a double coat system with additional heater of 100 W in freezing temperatures (up to -20 °C). All year round operation of all versions has the electric power input of 120 W. The cleaning process is being favourably influenced by the temperature of sewage water accumulated in the pit.

Parameters of cleaned water of the HERVA sewage treatment plant at the discharge, guaranteed when observing the operating regulations and material load of the plant
